This post took me 200 seconds to write...

Why do parents refer to their young children's ages in a month form? And exactly when does that get converted to years? You never hear anyone saying,
"Oh, my little tyke is 82 months now. He's real chatty." "Yeah, just wait 'till they get to that dreaded 142nd month...they turn into little bastards."

This conversion just seems to kind of happen in the secret circles of parenthood and those of us who don't have the membership are left scratching our heads.

I remember now

...why I liked this book when I first read it. That and the hot romance and crazy women locked in the attic.

Bridget Jones' Diary

I watched "The Edge of Reason" last night. I love Bridget Jones, so in the spirit of Jones:

Okay. I just graduated [two days ago] and now I'm the post-college rut. How long is this supposed to last?
My boyfriend of almost three years couldn't wait to get out of the relationship [what, did I pass gas too much?] and I can't find a job to save my life. I am not under any circumstances going to sell insurance. I will not get sucked into mediocrity.
